Cooking with Soul

A new cooking series has started.

The goal: to cook, learn and enjoy good food as well as create partnerships with farmers, fellow cooks and with people who are hungry in the Beach neighbourhood.

As part of the Beach Interfaith Lunch Program, Beach United Church feeds 60-80 people lunch twice a week.

The first Cooking with Soul event was held at BUC on May 1st. The theme: to think about sustainability on all levels and make a lunch with entirely local ingredients.
