Beach United Church is building a new home to “house our ministries.” This will include removing the south wing of the existing building and significantly redesigning and renovating the north wing, which includes the sanctuary. Housing Our Ministries (HOMe) is an ambitious project being led by a group of volunteers who are overseeing all aspects: finances, design, selection of an architect and contractor, timelines, and so on. For example, many volunteers helped out in the fall and winter of 2009/10 by visiting other churches and buildings that have been renovated.
